Painting Holiday - Carcassonne & Montagne Noire

Our painting holiday in  Languedoc France is based in an area that has inspired so many artists. Based at La Maison Fleur de Felice, a beautifully restored village house, tucked away in a tranquil village north of Carcassonne in the Montagne Noire, surrounded by chestnut; cherry and walnut trees, and shaded by the forests of the mountain and its surrounding villages.

 

We accommodate a wide level of ability, whether you are an accomplished artist or haven't picked up a paintbrush in years. Inspiration and subject matter can be developed from the village or on one of our many beautiful and inspiring field trips, with glorious landscapes. We can guide you through the creative process with both group and one-to-one tuition from our highly experienced and friendly tutors, allowing each individual to get the most of the Fleur de Felice painting holiday experience!

 

  

In order to give you the attention we believe you deserve, we ensure that the group sizes are between 6 and 12 people. You will receive a great insight into this particular and beautiful region of southern France.

 

 

Our objective is to offer a relaxing atmosphere with the emphasis on enjoyment. We aim to encourage guests to enrich their skills and knowledge as well as build confidence in their own abilities, enabling them to experiment with a relaxed and comfortable environment.

 

 

Surrounded by stunning views, many of our guests simply want to take the opportunity to spend quality time painting and sketching in our garden, or in our charming village and local sites nearby. Wind down after a day's painting in our hot tub, or take a pleasant stroll around the village and take in the attractive surrounding scenery.

 

 

This is definitely an art holiday to remember - a week of dazzling scenery and light, varied textures of nature; shimmering waterfalls and lakes, romantic Cathar Castles and colouful markets and villages bustling with life and interest.
