The south of France was an inspiration to many of the
great Impressionists such as Monet, Renoir, Pissarro and Cezanne who
were attracted to the region by its beauty.
Fleur de Felice is located in the idyllic village of Mas
Cabardes in the mountain regions just north of Carcassonne and its
surroundings are a photographer’s paradise. Where better then, to
come and learn photography than this beautiful medieval village,
Carcassonne, and the region of Languedoc Roussillon.
Apart from the natural beauty that nature provides such
as sun rises and sunsets, the mountains, sun flower, red poppy and
lavender fields, vineyards, Chestnut tree forests and the longest drop
waterfall in Europe called the Cascade de Cupservies, there are also
many spectacular man made sites.
These sites include The 4 Cathar Castles of Lastours and
Carcassonne’s Medieval City and The Canal du Midi, which are both
UNESCO world heritage sites.
